X-Ray De-commissioning

HFL provides a professional de-commissioning and controlled disposal service for all types of medical equipment.  HFL endeavours to introduce environmentally considerate measures to disposal, prioritising re-cycling of components and materials.

Waste Management / Duty of Care Waste Transfer

As an extension to de-commissioning, HFL can provide solutions to the problems of disposing of the full range of medical engineering "waste".
European legislation demands waste type/classification disposal in a segregated manner and there is increased emphasis on reducing hitherto "landfill" waste to an absolute minimum.  HFL is a registered waste carrier/broker.

Turnkey Projects

In addition to de-commissioning systems, HFL will undertake to carryout turnkey works for the preparation of rooms prior to new installations.

Radiation Protection / Secondary Radiation protection

HFL can provide a full range of radiation protection services for screens, walls, windows etc.  This can range from a simple modification of existing methods to a bespoke designed and manufactured screen solution with in-built worktops or furniture, at end users choice of colour /finish.  All units are manufactured to the highest specification of build and materials.
